Answers to Common Questions There are a lot of myths in regards to how Furniturelink operates, and we always get asked these common questions so we thought we'd provide you with the answers here.
- Can you only visit Furniturelink if you receive benefits?
No, Furniturelink is open to anyone and everyone. However, if you receive benefits you may be entitled to an additional discount.
- If I claim benefits can I get furniture for free?
All of our furniture is priced, and not free. Prices are non-negotiable however if you receive benefits you will be entitled to a discount (you’ll have to bring proof of benefits). Us, we are a charity. Money raised here goes to the running costs of the project. We are now trying to raise additional money via our Donate page so that we can also complete furniture funding ourselves – to donate, and help us achieve please scroll over ‘Get Involved’ and click donate!
- Do you buy second hand furniture?
No we don’t purchase any of our furniture, all the items that we sell are donated to us by the general public or via large retailers that we work with. The only things we buy in are cookers, fridge freezers and mattresses and these are purchased from reputable retailers.
