What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most effective ways of giving to charity. It is a scheme administered by the Inland Revenue which allows us to claim 25p for every £1 that you donate. So, for example, if you donate £20 we can claim an extra £5, making your gift worth £25 at no extra cost to yourself.

Who can Sign up?

To become a Gift Aider you simply need to have paid or will pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax that is at least equal to the tax that Furniturelink and other charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs you donate to will reclaim on your donations in a tax year.

Gift Aid on Donated Items

You can also opt into a separate Gift Aid scheme when you donate items to our charity too. This lets us collect an additional 25% whenever we sell something that you have donated.

How to Sign Up?

To sign up to Gift Aid you have four options you can pop into our Furniture Project at: Unit 2B, Merrow Business Park, GU4 7WA and pick up a form from our Receptionist. If you are having your items collected or delivered you can grab a form off our driver Tony who will have several copies in his van, you can contact us using our contact page and we can one sent out to you, or you can download one below and either email it us at guildfordfurntiurelink@gmail.com or post it to us using the above address.
